HERE IS A BROWN 8 1/2" X 11" DISPLAY OF JOHNNY BLANCHARD- WITH A SIGNED 3" X 5" PHOTO-CARD ATTACHED: IT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE 1962 TOPPS CARD IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, WITH VERY LIGHT WEAR. DISPLAY INCLUDES STATISTICS FROM THE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF BASEBALL, THE SIGNED 3" X 5" PHOTO-CARD, A 1962 TOPPS CARD, AND ON THE BACK AN OBITUARY WITH PHOTOS---- MOUNTED ON A BROWN 8 1/2" X 11" SHEET OF CONSTRUCTION PAPER. JOHNNY BLANCHARD WAS A CATCHER/OUTFIELDER IN THE MAJOR LEAGUES FOR 8 YEARS- WITH THE YANKEES IN 1955, AND AGAIN FROM 1959-1965, WITH THE ATHLETICS IN 1965, AND WITH THE BRAVES IN 1965. HIS BEST SEASON WAS IN 1961, WHEN HE BATTED .305 WITH 21 HOME RUNS-- WAS A WORLD SERIES CHAMPION IN 1961 & IN 1962. JOHNNY BLANCHARD DIED MARCH 25, 2009.
