Description
Only the cut is included in this purchase, not the picture! 1930s Tom DiMaggio Signed Cut Brother of Joe DiMaggio D 1980 JSA Auth. Rare blue steel-tip fountain pen signature of the DiMaggio’s brother no one ever hears about. The offered autograph comes from an autograph book assembled by a gentleman name Joe Brady that included 100+ vintage autographs. Based on content (1935 Giants, 1937 Philies and 1937 Cardinals) and dates we believe the signatures all date to mid to late 1930's. Authenticated by JSA Authentication. Tom DiMaggio, the oldest of the DiMaggio brothers and a non-ball playing member of the clan is shown during a visit with Joe in the Yankee dressing room today. The talk, of course, was on the pennant hopes of the Yankees, and Tom is here to attend Saturday's testimonial to the Yankee Clipper. The Yanks were rained out at New York today and the Red Sox at Washington. In the event of cancellation of the games tomorrow, the Red Sox and Yankees, now tied, will fight it out against each other in New York.
